Good Morning!

Today's card is something I managed to put together yesterday afternoon after getting an extra hour due to the clocks changing! lol The day felt so long I tell you! 

Today's card is using a Tilda that I actually coloured in about 2 years ago and was stuck on a storage box, however I needed the box for something else hence why she is now on a card! lol

C&S Christmas Card & Decoration Set!

Good Morning!

The other afternoon I was having a look through a box full of old Christmas craft bits & pieces and came across a box of Toppers. Now as you can probably tell I don't really tend to use Toppers when card - making, BUT these one's were just too pretty it seemed a shame not to find a way to use them!

I decided to layer up the Topper with foam pads as there was an extra cut out of just the snowmen. I then finished them off by adding a little purple star embellishment at the top and then mounted it onto a snowflake die - cut.

Luckily they were already glittered so that saved me a job! 

Seeing as I had one Topper left over I thought I'd do something different and make a decoration for a Christmas Tree!

A White Winter!

Good Morning!

On today's card I have used one of the older Magnolia Stamps (of which I have for sale over on my main blog) and one of the Christmas Sentiment Die Cuts from the new T.Holtz Thinlits set that I couldn't resist getting last week. I also found some silver fabric stars in my stash and decided to give them a bit of a makeover with some Distress Paint to add the white shabby look!

Creative Inspirations - In The Spotlight!

This week's challenge at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS is something a little different to usual, it's to use the Technique ... In The Spotlight! 

This week's challenge was chosen by SARAH SWIRE and here is a brief description of what you need to do ...

Simply stamp your main image twice then cut a section out of the second image. Colour it in and then place back over your first stamped image. Clever huh?!

This week's prize is from MYSELF and is a 

Wild Rose Studio Christmas Stamp!

Just for a little change I decided to use adhesive pearls on my stamped image as snow instead of frantage.

I think they both look just as good :)

Deck the Halls!

Good Morning!

Apologies for the later than usual posting. I had originally planned to make this card yesterday afternoon but something came up, so I didn't get a chance to make it until just now!

I hope you all like it, the stamp is one of the retiring designs from Lili of the Valley and I just knew that I had to snap him up before he was gone! I have also used the gorgeous new Christmas papers from Maja Design which arrived earlier in the week.

The large heart doily I have used was also part of a Birthday Prezzie from my lovely friend Tina!
