J&C Creations Monthly Challenge - Contemporary Christmas!

Good Morning!

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! Today's card is for the new monthly challenge that launched yesterday over at J&C CREATIONS MONTHLY CHALLENGE and we have an easy theme of Contemporary Christmas! All we want is you to use contemporary colours on your Christmas creations!

I have decided to use the gorgeous new papers I got last weekend by LOTV and teamed them with a Penny Black stamped image using Distress Ink and Holographic Embossing Powder.

J&C Creations - Spellbinders with Inks 2!

Good Morning!

Before I share today's card I had to show you the birthday presents I bought for myself that arrived this week lol Seeing it was my birthday it was allowed of course ...

I have also just noticed that one of my cards was featured on the Spotlight on October the 5th over at SWEET STOP SKETCH! The reason I have only just noticed it was because last Saturday I was in Harrogate so forgot to pop over! *blush* anyway even though it is late I am still chuffed that it was featured!

Onto today's card I'm back with another card for J&C CREATIONS that has combined using Spellbinders Dies with Inks! I have used one of the basic sets which I will admit I had only used previously to cut out stamped images. However I have used the cut outs this time to create a background! Along with using some of my new goodies ...

Charisma Cardz - Sketch!

I actually can't remember the last time that I made a Magnolia Card ... most of you will know that I used to make them all the time but since getting all inky I have been experimenting with that a lot more! However today it's all different as I treated myself to this gorgeous stamp from the new Christmas collection :)

By the time you read this I shall be on my way to Harrogate for the GNPE feeling rather nervous! Although I think it will be a great way to spend my 22nd Birthday ... along with having a little spend before I get stuck into some demo-ing! Good Morning!

Today I have my second card to share for this weeks theme over at the J&C CREATIONS BLOG which is Christmas in Bloom! The team are using the latest 2012 Penny Black Christmas Stamps for this.
This week we are also giving away this gorgeous CANDY  so to be in with a chance please pop over and follow this instructions, whoever wins these is a very lucky crafter indeed! You have until Friday 28th September to join in ...

WINTER WONDERLAND - TO THE ONE I LOVE

To create the background paper using clear embossing ink stamp your design all over some white card and sprinkle with white embossing powder. Heat set and then ink all over with Distress Stains spritzing with water and the heart setting again. Next stamp your design using Black Archival Ink and then ink the edges. To finish spritz a cloth with some water and wipe over the white embossed part to clean off the ink so the white stands out the best it can.
